Open Question: AUX input in 2003 Jeep Wrangler?
Hi! I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler, and want to attach my ipod in the car. i know that this is possible by using this:

but i was wondering if it is possible to bypass having to spend all the money on that, what is the purpose of the “box”?
can’t i simply buy one of these:

and one of these to connect to that?

does that bypass having to spend the money on the other thing? i having a feeling that this isn’t going to work. anyone know the answer to that question?
