Open Question: When I floor my gas pedal, a cloud of “dirty” smoke comes from the tailpipe?
2001 Chrysler Concorde 2.7L
I know these engines have a “sludge” problem, but I have been using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic for the past 10k miles now. It’s cleaned the engine out pretty good, but every once in a while when I floor the gas a cloud of dirty smoke (not white or black) comes out of the tailpipe. This only occasionally happens. The engine runs and drives like brand new (100k miles) Is this random cloud of dirty smoke anything to worry about or just the engine “cleaning” itself out when I floor it?

Open Question: Charger r/t - Magnum r/t - 300c - Need a v8 under 20k?
Hello, I have been looking at the three Chrysler lx series cars for some time now and I was wondering if there were some small differences between the group besides the obvious body styling. I definitely want to do some upgrades on whatever I get. Im also looking at the cts-v 5.7 but im a bit hesitant because I do alot of city driving and I don’t really want a stick shift. Any recommendations on a good semi American v8 car 04+ would be a help. Thanks
