I have a 1998 chrysler seabring convertable?
the steeringwheel is locked, the key won’t turn and I can move the automatic shifter back and fourth, whats wrong? Answer: Try turning the steering wheel a little bit. You should feel a little bit of play one way or the other. Your steering lock is engaged. It always engages when you remove the key, but sometimes it gets really locked, especially if the wheels were turned a bit when you parked.
