This is a step by step video showing how I replaced the left rear axle seal on my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4. The rear axle shown is the very popular Chrysler 9.25″ model, with a classical \’stop sign\’ shaped cover plate and 12 mounting bolts. This repair was necessary because of a small leak of axle fluid onto the inner brake structure on that side.
