Open Question: Do you think General Motors will really go out of business?
It’s a shame because they are actually starting to make quality cars. They completely made Cadillac a viable competitor to BMW and Lexus. The new Malibu looks fantastic actually handles well and I think would be better than a Camry. The only GM car I really think is bad is the Chevy Cobalt.
I don’t understand why GM is in such trouble compared to Chrysler. Granted, they are in trouble too, but their cars are THE WORST CARS ON THE ROAD. GM and Ford have actually improved the fit and finish on the interiors and the suspensions, but Chrysler it seems has made no effort what so ever to make their interiors/suspensions/engines/quality any better at all. And what’s worse, I think that if Chrysler does get bailed out, they still won’t use the money to improve fit and finish.
Why is GM in a worst financial crisis than Chrysler when their cars are light years better?
oh and all Buicks with the exception of the Enclave are also horrible lol. I think personally that they should just drop buick because there is no way to successfully revive buick’s image.

Open Question: Why Are GM, Ford & Chrysler unwilling to negotiate with their UAW unions for relief during this hard time?
I would think that the UAW would be more than willing to to give a little to help their company survive. But that does not appear to be the case. Do they feel that they are economically invincible?

They need help!!!!!! If the govt. should decide not to give them aid and they go under what will the govt. use for new vehiches? Can you imagine from now on all the US police and secret service vehicles are Nissans, Hondas, Toyotas & Acuras?
I would miss the Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, Vipers, &Challengers.
I just can’t imagine being pulled over by a cop in a Toyota Camry police car?
